Dumpster Day procedures have changed due to Governor Wolf's instructions for social distancing. The Township would like to encourage either a prepayment done at the Township Building Monday-Friday between 8am and 4pm. Please call or email Madison Smith, the Assistant to the Director of Public Works, at 717-939-9377 ext. 3036 or firstname.lastname@example.org. She will fill out all information for the dumpster permit and the permit will be kept with the Public Works crew during the Dumpster Day. The permit will not be accepted until payment has been received. Please drop the check off in the drop box, located at the front entrance of the Township Building, 1499 Spring Garden Drive. Once the check has been received, Ms. Smith will finalize the information for the permit which will confirm your dumpster drop off. On the day of Dumpster Day, please state your name and information to the crew member collecting payment to confirm you're drop off.
If payment is presented on the day of the Dumpster Day, only a written check will be accepted. Dumpster Day payment can be processed through the window at the Public Works complex located on Oberlin Road. There will be a sign placed for residents to easily find the payment location. Please place all desired throw items in the backhoe bucket to be dropped into the dumpster.
